As we mentioned in our previous paper, "We hope that this work will inspire new theoretical efforts to quantitatively characterize large-scale GBS, improve the classical simulation strategies optimized for the realistic parameters, and challenge the observed quantum computational advantage". In our recent Jiuzhang 2.0, we have not only made a number of technical improvements, but also measured additional sampling data with fewer photon clicks than the previous work so that to make the simulation accessible to a wide community using only their laptop. We welcome the community to reach us for new ideas and methods for characterization and spoofing.
