量子通信器件

研究方向

量子通信克服了经典加密技术内在的安全隐患,是迄今为止唯一被严格证明是无条件安全的通信方式。量子通信系统中最重要的器件包括单光子探测器、量子随机数发生器、以及单光子频率转换器等,这些器件的参数指标直接决定了量子通信系统的性能。

1. 单光子探测器
盖革模式下的单光子雪崩光电二极管具有成本低、体积小、无需超低温制冷等优势,是实用化量子通信领域的首选方案。本研究方向主要开展以下几方面的工作:
(1) 高效率、低噪声InGaAs/InP单光子雪崩光电二极管(SPAD)的设计与制备;
(2) 高性能淬灭电子学系统及其单片集成电路的设计;
(3) InGaAs/InP单光子探测器在量子通信、激光雷达等领域中的应用;
(4) 高效率硅单光子探测器的研制。

2. 量子随机数发生器
量子随机数发生器是基于量子物理原理产生真随机数的系统,具备不可预测性、不可重复性和无偏性等特征,是量子通信系统的另一项核心器件。本研究方向主要开展以下几方面的工作:
(1) 高速率量子随机数的产生;
(2) 小型化实时量子随机数发生器;
(3) 器件无关量子随机数的产生,解决了现实条件下器件不完美所引起的熵估计错误和偏置。

3. 单光子频率转换
(1) 研制高效率的周期性极化铌酸锂波导;
(2) 以及基于此波导的单光子频率转换技术及其在量子信息中的应用;
(3) 研究基于基于上转换单光子探测器光纤传感、量子激光雷达等。
