Abstract

Quantum simulation in optical lattice was known to be one of the best candidates to study problems of fundamental physics. Recently, however, combined with modern technology developed in quantum computing community, digital and local operations are possible in systems like fermionic optical lattice, where qubits are occupation of fermionic modes. In this talk, I will review basic building blocks of Fermi-Hubbard model not in a way of condensed matter physics, but from a quantum walk perspective. I will also report progress of our new experiment, UniRand, where we combine optical lattice and tweezer technology into one machine.
