Experimental quest for high-temperature and room-temperature superconductivity (SC) at ambient pressure is a long-standing research theme. It has also been highly desired to search for theoretical mechanisms that may achieve higher-temperature SC. In this talk, I will discuss the emergence of antiferromagnetic ordering [1] and high-temperature s-wave SC [2] in the Su-Schrieffer-Heeger (SSH) model. From numerically-exact quantum Monte-Carlo simulations, we showed that superconducting Tc is remarkably higher in the SSH model than those in the Holstein models, particularly in the strong electron-phonon coupling regime. This is mainly because the SSH phonons in the strong coupling regime can greatly help pair hopping, thus enhancing the phase coherence of Cooper pairs and raising Tc. I will further show that the Su-Schrieffer-Heeger EPC, in collaboration with Hubbard interactions, could induce d-wave high-temperature superconductivity [3], which could be relevant for physics in cuprate high-temperature superconductor.

报告人简介:
姚宏,清华大学高等研究院教授、美国物理学会会士。2001年南京大学本科毕业,2004年获约翰斯·霍普金斯大学硕士学位,2009年获斯坦福大学博士学位。2009-2012年先后在加州大学伯克利分校和斯坦福大学从事博士后研究,2012年回国在清华大学高等研究院任教,2018年获国家杰出青年科学基金,2021年当选美国物理学会会士(APS Fellow),2022年获中国物理学会叶企孙物理奖,2023年获科学探索奖。主要从事量子多体物态中强关联物理和拓扑物理的理论研究,在量子自旋液体模型(包括Yao-Kivelson模型和Yao-Lee模型)、高温超导理论、费米符号问题、新奇量子相变等领域做出了重要贡献。已发表学术论文110余篇,包括Science 2篇、Nature Physics 4篇、PRL 30篇。论文Google Scholar引用10000余次、H因子50,多篇文章入选SCI高被引论文。
