主要研究方向是量子通信与量子纠缠。
我们实现了200 km的远距离安全量子密钥分发(QKD)实验,刷新了基于诱骗态QKD分发的最远距离世界纪录。在国际上首次完整实现测量设备无关的量子秘钥分发实验,解决了QKD系统最大的安全隐患;并参与开展更远距离、网络化、实用化的研究。并开展新型量子通信方案的研究,如量子比特承诺,量子数据锁定等。成果多次被《Science》《Physics》等报道,被美国物理学会评为年物理学年度进展之一(Highlights of the year)。
近期主要研究方向是高性能纠缠的产生及应用,使用周期极化晶体(PPKTP)作为非线性介质,我们可以设计并搭建高效率纠缠源。我们期望利用高性能纠缠源可以实现无漏洞贝尔不等式测量,以及进行设备无关的量子通信实验演示。
