My research focuses on the up-conversion single photon detector and its application. I develop a new type up-conversion single-photon detector based on periodically poled lithium niobate waveguide in the 1.5μm telecom band. Based on the newly up-conversion single-photon detector, I achieved the experiment of measurement device-independent Quantum Key Distribution in the fiber、217km long distance Optical Time Domain Reflectometer and 2micron band up-conversion single photon detector. What is more, the detector is also used in the aerosol lidar and wind Doppler lidar.
